Understanding the neurobiological basis of ADHD is important for developing more targeted treatments and interventions for individuals with the disorder. Currently, treatments for ADHD typically include medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle modifications. By gaining a better understanding of how ADHD affects the brain, researchers can continue to improve upon existing treatments and develop new strategies to help individuals better manage their symptoms and improve their overall quality of life.
